Bakeries in Toronto

I stopped by Dough Bakeshop on the Danforth today This is my favourite bakery for traditional Canadian baking in Toronto.

I purchased some butter tarts for a friend.

Here are some of their other goods.

I am a fan of their peameal, avocado and egg breakfast sandwich, too.

Quick visit to Café Bélem, the most upscale Portuguese cafe and bakery in Toronto at the moment.

Café Bélem serves the best custard tarts in Toronto. $3 each. Flaky pastry, just the right amount of vanilla.

We really enjoyed the passion fruit custard today. Top right corner.

I have not tried their Francesinha yet.

Alma Lusa is their sister café located on Oakwood North of St Clair W.

I am including Soma Chocolate in this thread since they also sell cookies.

Here are some of their chocolates.

My favourites are the cherry bomb, Mayan dome, salt caramel, caramel kiss, Vietnamese coffee and crispy caramel (formerly known at feuilletine)
