Their kale salads are pretty good, although I think it is because they are smothered in Caesar dressing.

What the fuck is Sonny’s…web site shows a half dozen pies and almost all say “unavailable!” no prices, no sides no nothing…and it seems to say you order online and show up at a specific time to pick it up…this is a “slice” thread…can u get slices? whats up with this joint?

it’s basically what Secret Pizza used to do. Buy a pie, pick a timeslot, go pick up your pie at that timeslot.
too much work for me, but that’s probably good news for the people who are interested.

Yes, LaSorted’s - it’s worth calling if you’re interested and seeing if they have the ingredients still. I’ve had some specials before and they are usually available until they run out of the materials.

Been trying to go to Little Dynamite every month to try out their monthly special. This month they have a 4-cheese (mozz, cheddar, provolone, gruyere) special with homemade tomato bisque on it.

So how was it? I was pissed to miss the Peach pie in August I think as they had stopped it early before Labor Day weekend.
Like a nice golden grilled cheese dipped in tomato bisque all evolved into 1 slice. I missed their peach slice as well, need to wait till next year! Peaches in July, roasted red grapes in September! Their August slice was a Don Piccante (probably my favorite).

Verdict:
Easily top 3 pizza in LA atm. For this new school NYC style of pizza. This is IT, maybe the best on the west coast? The crust and sauce are spectacular. There is that Gen Z tik tok crowd here but beyond that this is great pizza. Destination like Sei and Quarter Sheets. Whole pies only. Overheard one of the owners going home to NJ so I wouldn’t go this week lol
