La Ong has surprisingly excellent Thai food for that part of town.

Grabbed a seat at the Spago bar for a cocktail and a smoked salmon pizza. A classic! Thanks @boourns!
Strolled over to Matū for another bar snack and drinks before heading home. Had a lovely steak tartare, fries and a couple of glasses of wine. I like the fact that they have Schramsberg by the glass. Thanks @Loaxley! I should come back for real dinner.

I’m looking for a weeknight dinner, non scene place. Moderately priced if possible, and I’m absolute ideal would be someplace I can eat at the bar.
Spago is interesting - but the bar (food) menu is really limited. Any suggestions?
