Chartreuse

Thank you! I had no idea Petit Trois had such a strong collection of Chartreuse.

They do have vintages but historically have not made it easy to know what vintage you are drinking. Up until recently, you had to add 1084 to the first three digits of the serial number. (So if the serial number was L929141, you’d add 1084 to 929 and that would give you the year of production.) I think as of recently they just simply print the production year on the label, so no more need for math. This all applied to standard Chartreuse, not totally sure if it was also applicable to VEP.

Regardless, the vintage definitely makes a big difference! I just recently did a vertical tasting of both yellow and green, tasting 2022, 2023, and 2024 vintages. The differences were stark.
