Right now I can’t stop eating the guacamole fries with carne asada at Lupe’s burritos.

Post the dish at a restaurant you currently must eat regularly. Go!

The thing I eat most is the plant-based burrito at Erewhon. I eat it once or twice a week. A big reason is that very little else in LA is open at 7 a.m., but it’s also quite tasty.

Yeah — that dish is go-to. With a squeeze of lime.

Curry?
It’s a bit of a sleeper there, I think.
After countless bowls of “the standards,” I stumbled onto it one day when I was in the mood for curry. I think works even better than the Deluxe or the Tokyo - which are great too.
There is a nice amount of leafy kale in that curry, and when it gets mixed into the mazumen (take your time with the mix), it gets really nice and soft. Very unique flavor and texture. Prob the best use of fresh kale I can think of.

I used to get the Deluxe pretty frequently and then had some GI upset after the last few orders. Maybe I’ll return to try the curry…

Grabbed a yelp shot of the pre-mixed Curry mazumen.
There is enough raw fresh kale for me to convince myself that I’m eating a healthy meal
