Broke keto and had the mummy wrapped monster taco. It was just ok. The two regular tacos, however, were such a treat!

McDonald’s all day breakfast? Speculation is it may be coming back as early as Monday.

Filet-O-Hash would be easier to do once again.

pickle fries - tremendous concept, dubious in practice. the intrinsic wateriness of the pickles makes soggy batter almost a default…
sonic has them year-round, and i’ve yet to have a good instance of them there.

Thanks for ruining my dreams but that makes sense. What if you froze the pickle before hand?

I think it’s just a matter of ratio of dry:wet. Fried pickle chips typically work out pretty well, spears not so much

Way too salty for me, but the texture was fine. Medium crispy outside, pickle not watery at all, kind of like a fried green tomato. I definitely picked the worst BK in BKLN, though. The entire back line was either shouting at each other or tapping on their phones as the crowd of people waiting for food got bigger. Note the box from some other promotion. And the counter guy forgot the ranch dressing (good thing I checked the bag before I left).

Am I the only dope who assumed that a combo meal was cheaper than ordering everything a la carte?
5.90 + 2.25 + 2.30 =10.45

I don’t drink soda so I never never get the meal (although their lemonade is pretty good) usually just get water. Lol that is pretty smart of them

burger king pickle fry is not bad!
they use a cornmeal batter that holds up much better than the one sonic uses. the pickle fry burger i found to be pointless - couldn’t taste the pickle at all…

first it was burger king with the pickle products, now popeyes - heady times to be in the pickle industry!
fried pickles - they slice the pickles very thin so that if you get a fresh-fried batch, it’s pure crunch with a bit of pickle flavor. similar to how super-thinly sliced onions make for crispier onion rings. would rate these as better overall product than the burgerking fried pickles, but less pickle-ly
pickle lemonade - vague Vietnamese salted lemon or salted plum drink vibes. pretty good, worth the novelty
pickle glaze chicken sandwich - has a lot of components of pickle flavor but doesn’t actually taste like a pickle. least successful of all the pickle products, but they still make a good fried chicken sandwich.. it’s also not as good as the standard spicy fried chicken

Agree.

Kenji rated the Popeye’s pickled chicken pretty high.
