So many good memories for me and my friends in the 90’s until they closed.

Many fun evenings spent here. Casual Izakaya is a format that no longer exists.

Il romanista rip!

Tempura house that place was so cheap and so good!

Had to look through some photos and think but there’s some other spots that I wish were still around

Ink sack sandwiches
Mo chica
The original 800 degrees before they got all crappy and fast casual
Somni (because I didn’t get to go, damn you Covid)
Baroo
The mexicali taco truck near downtown before they became a not so good sit down restaurant

How a place like that can close and a place like salt and straw is booming makes me so sad.

Terrines bar program was great too, I miss sitting with french fries and a cocktail

Latest occupant closed yesterday.

Yeah thought this was a funny blurb by LA Times, figure Animal deserved its own mention, though the concept contrast itself is funny

:triumph::triumph::triumph: the disrespect to animal… nics on beverley was definitely not one of ‘la’s best vegetarian and vegan restaurants’

I miss koo koo roo. Maybe it was just nostalgia but the chicken and sides got me through some lean years.

It’s a low bar. Nemroz gave it a thumbs-up for vegan emergencies.
