We had a lot of fun. The tower was delicious and we def had some leftovers to bring home. The collab bing was delicious as well.
Mushroom crispy rice still slaps, donut dessert was ridiculous
Justin said one solo customer ordered that seafood tower all for himself, and slowly anaconda’ed that thing over the next 2 hours. #Anajakconda
i’m willing to do that challenge and do it in less than 2 hours. Did he finish the whole thing including all the other fillers in the seafood tower? was that his only order?
i’m asking too many questions for someone who will eventually turn down the challenge.
i can see just ordering that for a solo dinner when that seafood tower is $325!!!
it was delicious especially paired with the dipping sauces. lobster and shrimp were the favorites only because they were the easiest to eat.
the new ricotta, jam, chili crunch bing might be my new second favorite behind the honey butter x ham bing. like sqirl sans mold.
smoked pork & hailam sauce
almost like a taco/tostada using a crisped up bing
thai eggplant salad, pine nut, fermented hot sauce, shio, kombu
steamed black cod, soy, black vinegar, green onion
soft and fatty. broth and fish went great with the rice.
boiled chicken, rice, ginger scallion, hand torn noodles
i respect the chicken, rice is great. green > red.
like I mentioned to you at dinner - our was cooked well but the fish was very muddy.
Also re: seafood tower - my favorite parts were the potato and green onion. They were excellent
My table did not like the steamed fish at all. Everything else was just fine to good, nothing mindblowing.
Should’ve splurged on the tower
Sad to hear that they could mess up steamed fish. That is such a staple at canto banquet style restaurants.
And also surprising that black cod would taste muddy maybe too much fat?
