Seems to me that the prices at Republique are about the same as those at Bicyclette. In same cases (e.g., baguette with butter), they are exactly the same.

The wine cellar is basically pulled from republique.

TIL, certainly makes sense! I suppose the heights of the cellar in Republique support what Manzke needed.

Bicyclette seemed pretty busy most of the time I thought the closing odd at the time. That’s as good an explanation as any.
