I’m willing to give them time to iron out the kinks, most restaurants need that

but I agree there’s probably hopes for Max & Helen’s in at least a few major US cities in the next few years, maybe even in places like London or Tokyo if things go good

What’s the process? Do you give them your phone number for the waitlist or do you just have to wait in line? if so, how many minutes do they give you when they text you saying your table is available?

They mentioned they’d call or text you 30-45 mins notice of when they think they’ll seat you so you have time to make it back.

It was just put your phone number on waitlist, yes.

See the discussion in the split-off topic. There was a 2.5-hour wait at 11:30 on the day he said he had lunch there. There are other issues I don’t want to go into publicly.

If you go on a Wednesday or Sunday you could checkout the Larchmont farmers market while waiting. :slightly_smiling_face:

Cookbook is also nearby. They have a Cafe for a little wine or coffee while you wait. Larchmont has a lot of cute shoppy shops. A really nice Beauty Supply Shop. A great stationary shop. You can just sit outside too… play Spot Conan.
