What time did you go and how was the line?
Showed up half an hour before open. At least 120 people in line so we bailed
Thatâs crazy. Do they have BTAC bottles for sale?
Iâm willing to give them time to iron out the kinks, most restaurants need that
but I agree thereâs probably hopes for Max & Helenâs in at least a few major US cities in the next few years, maybe even in places like London or Tokyo if things go good
Osteria Mozza opened up in DC last year
I thought the same, figured nearer to lunch might be when the real lines form
glad I didnât drive over
Whatâs the process? Do you give them your phone number for the waitlist or do you just have to wait in line? if so, how many minutes do they give you when they text you saying your table is available?
They mentioned theyâd call or text you 30-45 mins notice of when they think theyâll seat you so you have time to make it back.
It was just put your phone number on waitlist, yes.
i guess i could go, leave my phone number on the waitlist. then come back when they call. haha
Deleted BeamToastâs posts and disabled his account because he was lying.
Wait, what? Do you mean that poster had never actually tried the food at the restaurant?
Right.
Yup. He was a troll
While I donât disagree that he was lying, I could not say for sure. What makes you so certain?
See the discussion in the split-off topic. There was a 2.5-hour wait at 11:30 on the day he said he had lunch there. There are other issues I donât want to go into publicly.
If you go on a Wednesday or Sunday you could checkout the Larchmont farmers market while waiting. ![]()
Cookbook is also nearby. They have a Cafe for a little wine or coffee while you wait. Larchmont has a lot of cute shoppy shops. A really nice Beauty Supply Shop. A great stationary shop. You can just sit outside too⌠play Spot Conan.
Sounds like a plan! ![]()
I guess when you have a line out the door all day every day you donât need to put too much thought into your social media strategy
Is that supposed to be a cinnamon roll? ![]()
Are Cinnies a cult item?
