Needle - Silver Lake

You can’t go wrong with either. Either way it will be the best scrambled eggs you will ever have.

Shrimp and scrambled egg is a classic Canto dish that Needle used to offer.

Some of you guys are probably more in the know but I imagine Chef Ryan is probably working on some new dishes. Be on the lookout when he offers dishes a la carte/dinner.

@moonboy403 you made me… I took a detour for Needle lol

Silky!

The simple egg sandwich is still my favorite :two_hearts:
Also, my body is mostly made of Needle’s eggplant bamboo at this point.

In terms of silkiness, I much prefer Needle’s.

Here’s what I had at Australia Diary Co.:

The milk bread and silky egg Ryan made are so light, they seems to float on top of each other like gravity doesn’t mean anything anymore

I’m not sure how those French toasts will stay through door dash and other delivery services, but I’m glad it’s available so anyone can get Needle delivered.

As for sandwiches with sauce, will they travel well? I’m worried that Ryan’s delicious milk buns will suffer through the drive… Why I’m worried about all of that tho, haha.

Anyways, this is my Needle’s staple for togo :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: Very happy day because Needle picked up more lunch rush orders. it’s still a one chef, one helper aka FOH, please be kind to them :bowing_woman:

Somehow I always wanna pick-up my own food. Those delivering services take such a huge cut and I don’t trust them with my precious food :joy: Maybe I have trust issues

Anytime you can avoid food delivery services do so. Order as directly as you can, via phone or website or restaurants nominated online method, and make the effort to pick up yourself. It’ll help keep your favorite restaurants alive.

Restaurants don’t always lose money on delivery. Just ask.

Tried this recently from delivery.

Loved the salted yolk French toast. The French toast with peanut butter didn’t seem to stand out as much for me.

Really loved the Char Siu Bun, but the Pork chop bun seemed a little overcooked on initial eating. All of the 4 items as leftovers though were very good. I do have to say I was not quite “wow’d” by anything but found them all very tasty.

I wish I had not missed their earlier items before closing because those looked delicious as well. Still enjoyed it and do not regret trying it.

Of course they don’t lose money, but they do lose margin. My point was to protect the margins by picking up yourself whenever possible. Just another way to strengthen your support of the industry. Sorry if that was unclear.

@MVJPL Totally hear you on this. I don’t live close by and Needle used to be so out of the way for me, but I always make a point to come see Ryan more often than I should

Last week’s update: the chain burger thing has opened across the street… It ain’t stoppin me from my deli fridge :two_hearts: Still the best togo things!

Not necessarily. Some restaurants charge delivery services the same amount they do me if I pick it up myself. Just ask them. I think the delivery services make up for it with bigger service charges.
