The two restaurants I ate at the most this year by far (thanks to my kids) were Prime Pizza and Lal Mirch so shout out to them too.
Need to try that chilli and corn bread at Dunsmoor.
I went to Dunsmoor not too long after it opened and thought it was very solid but certainly not best restaurant worthy. Guess I need to give it another shot with all the praise you’re giving it.

How do you like pancita and moronga at Barbacoa Ramirez?
haven’t tried the pancita, but i thought the flavor of the blood sausage was pretty amazing. i keep going back for the consommé, the tortillas, and the hospitality.
We just really like the flavors at Dunsmoor. E.g. we both prefer Dunsmoor to Kato even though Kato clearly has more refined dishes and has far better service and wine list. I guess for us it’s like Langer’s is for others. They are awesome with the crudos. The hearty bread and gouda cheese are very satisfying.
