I don’t really care (don’t eat much candy these days) but it’s heartening that he cares enough to get mad!
It’s weird to me how often giant corporations buy small brands and then turn their products to crap.
I don’t really care much about candy, either, but I’m now actually interested in trying some to see if I can tell the difference!
IIRC, the article said that Reese sold the company in the 1960s? I think it’s interesting that the product has changed (or only changed enough to draw the ire of a Reese) only recently. I wonder if pandemic inflation, tariffs, etc. have been the driver behind the recent changes (as I imagine they have in so many industries).
Since it was sold over 60 years ago I guess it’s not what I was thinking of.
