hell, I’m still going to check it out, looks great.

Did you end up going? The other place that’s similar we go to is Iccho. LIke, nothing is amazing but the menu is massive and the place is so warming. We’ve been going like 1-2x a week, lol.

Previously enjoyed my slices at slice and pint. Went to the new location in north redondo and it was a flabby crappy thin mess. Charging almost 5 dollars a slice for cheese lol. Gonna skip

Is this Instagram link broken or the post has been taken down? If so, that’s okay.

Terrible looking slice. Limp mess. Too bad bc l also had good slices at the OG slice and pint.

Little China wow I love it after a second try. We got it delivered and it was still super good. Has quickly become my favorite Korean Chinese restaurant over the ktown mainstays. Two cant miss items gan jjajangmyeon and kan pong ji with bones

I just really wanted to recommend Yakitori Nishi as I’ve been going pretty consistently since they’ve opened. The shop is run by a lovely couple - Yume handles FOH while Koichiro handles the grill. I really enjoy Koichiro’s yakitori. It is smoky, light on tare (so you really get to taste the chicken), and big. His tebasaki and hatsu are both standouts. I usually get the 12 skewer omakase which runs me about $65, which I think is a steal. It is also good to get there early to try some of the skewers that typically run out by the end of the night: kawa (skin), bonjiri (butt), and sasami. Their business is primarily Japanese, so I’m hoping that I can spread the word among yakitori-lovers here. Also, they’re never fully booked - there is always room at the bar.

That reminds me… One of the brands at Smart and Final (can’t remember which) makes a shockingly good cheesecake.
