Sudachi (West LA)

Anyone been or know anything about it? Was invited by a friend and am going in a couple weeks. Hardly nothing about it on forums, just some reviews on Google/Yelp (all of which seem positive, but not sure how reliable they are). Curious if anyone here has been.

No idea lol! But I’m curious too

It’s a favorite of Chef Brooke Williamson and family.

Well regarded in that area.

I had a great dinner at the counter there. So nice to have a upper-middle to lower-upper class non-omakase sushi option nearby.

Price ?

hard to say because we had a lot to drink but is not as inexpensive as hide or uzumaki and not as expensive as the the omakases

I’ve been on the fence about Sudachi, I love the prices on the 3 set menus but honestly it seems like not a lot of food compared to what I would get for the same price at Moto Azabu, on the other hand I haven’t been so maybe I’m miss judging.

Maybe the move at Sudachi is to just order off the menu and get a mix of dishes. Thoughts?

It has been a very long time since I have been to Moto Azabu, but always found the quality fairly good and the QPR very good. Not quite at the level of Sudachi, IMHO, but similar. At Sudachi, I was siting next to ABC News anchor David Ono -
