I hate when he says things like this, lol.
Picking up tonight at 6:45. Any recs for where to picnic around here?
weller court has some tables in the courtyard or you can drive 5 minutes to row dtla, free parking with plenty of quiet, shaded tables.
Right parking at row is handy. Good to check out what’s new.
I know right? I’ll be willfully and contentfully ignorant of all the other sushi spots henceforth
Is the Bay area really ahead of LA in high end sushi?

It can’t be possible to eat a slice of that in one shot.
Do you have to share that Futomaki? Or do you literally get the whole roll to yourself?
Back in the tock days you could buy a whole roll - 8pc/$60
If there are leftover slices, and none of your fellow diners at the bar calls dibs, then the extra slices are all yours…
One of my extra slices…

I have witnessed @J_L .
I actually didn’t do it in one shot, because I thought I’d be able to get some meaningful differences in flavor and texture out of it, but it doesn’t seem like it’d have been difficult.
