The Sale Thread

Ick! I have no interest in staub or any cookware. Maybe my original plan to hit the outlet is a better one.

Thanks for the heads up. They’re doing it again next weekend, so maybe bringing more stock? Three bills off for the oven is good but ya it’s still spendy.

Just don’t need or you’re anti-Staub? I like my little cocotte!

I had to replace an old lodge that’s chipped but I wouldn’t have gone if I didn’t have a goal in mind

Ha! I can see how it came off that way, but If you look up this thread, you can see the amount of Le Creuset I was able to get at one of their first Factory sales. In fact, in my recent home remodel, I installed Shelves to show off some of the collection… LOL!!

I do have a Staub as well, a shallow which I got at the Outlet for a crazy price (like $120) because at the time LC didn’t have a shallow available. I always keep it on hand in a Metro cart right by the stove.

So yes, they are awesome pieces, I just need a new paring knife before Pomegrante season. LOL!!

Big news for Underwood Sriracha! They are now at 99 Ranch! It’s on sale this week for $4! I already had a bottle of Sriracha and Sambal at home. So I picked up The Chile Garlic.

It’s a nice mix of both. It’s not as vinegary as the Sambal. Not as spicy as their Sriracha. The garlic flavor is very smooth, but a lot more present than either the Sriracha or sambal. It’s also not sweet so it’s quite versatile. I can imagine this good with a breakfast burrito. I had it tonight with some roasted fingerling potatoes.

Jidori is having a sale on their chef’s choice yakitori set and their yakitori starter set – i haven’t tried either of these, i was just browsing to see if they had any california reds in stock (they do not).

This weekend only at Costco the prime grade prime ribs are $75 off. Priced at $20 per lb most of the slabs are in the 18-20 lb range. I bought a big one that I’m gonna serve half for Thanksgiving and freeze the other portions for NYE surf and turf and 1 other meal.

Me too! The pros of not hosting are less work & stress. The cons are not enough turkey leftovers (hot turkey sandwiches w/dressing & gravy :yum:). I feel like making a small turkey & a few fixins!
