Churros Flash – one-man operation in the Pavilions parking lot on Melrose, on the Lillian Way side.
Great QPR, $5 for 6 churros ($1 more for toppings/drizzles), 5-6” each. Solid, if a little oily, but the oil had a clean aftertaste at least. They also have platanos but didn’t try this time. Open 6-10pm, I think Tues-Sun?
The taco stand on the Vine St side has re-branded from Asadero Los Angeles to Tacos Entre Amigos, and they’ve leveled up. Adobada/pastor and asada were better than my previous couple times. Good tortillas and salsas, cool people.
