No worries, I wasn’t trying to shame anybody as I don’t have the full information myself.

Bristol Farms. Anybody know how much? I’ve never had. I have to try once our local BF has it. Says they have the butter flown in once every 2 weeks.

Wow! That’s a get! Usually I buy it at Surfas or Epicure Imports. It’s a bit more flavorful than the gold foil stuff you get at Whole Foods.

Usually you can get at Surfas for $10 for a little over 4oz.

Oh! Today they also just happened to send out a $10 off $50 for tomorrow only. So if you are headed there, check your mail.

Not food related. We used to live at Lake Tahoe and the host of the Winter Olympics in the 60’s was at “Squaw Valley.” After years and years of talk, this past year it was renamed “Palisades Tahoe.”

$8.99 each. Grabbed 6 for $43 and change after the $10 off today.

Nice. Gotta check out my BF.

Does the sign say 7.2 cents per ounce or am I misreading?

$.072/g. Sharp eyes, though. I couldn’t even see the “7.2”

Damn!! That is a good price! Buratta, Butter, French ham and yummy housemade sausages…. Bristol is becoming more and more a destination.

Yes but it’s expensive. Bristol has the best produce, seafood and meat IMHO. We always take advantage of these deals.

Yep! This is why I sign up for their emails. Also, free The Cookie day… :joy:

Probably not the right topic but didn’t want to start a new thread. Friends and family have recently come back from Portugal and France bringing these gifts. I didn’t know this was a thing but the tubes are super convenient and most of all delicious.
(L>R) Olive, chestnut cream and orange jam

We’ve been getting them, too! What have you been doing with the olive paste?

Just eating them on good bread. maybe you can use the olive paste in sauces? Let me know if you find a good use.

So much tastier on a baguette than triamcinolone 0.5% topical cream…

I didn’t have my glasses on when I was looking at the pic, and I was like, “Oh, why are we discussing skin cream???” and then got VERY confused when “olive paste” was mentioned (why are food-flavored skin creams???).

They definitely look like tubes of topical cream. It would be bad if we mixed this thread with the drunk stoned and hungry thread.

For those unable to get Harry’s, Tamai or other sweet FM berries these are a pretty good option. Found these at H-Mart Diamond Bar for $4.99. I’ve been buying the Driscoll ‘Sweetest’ version of blueberries for a few months. Not sure what GMO or strain they are using for these berries but they are delicious and yes sweet.
