Amazing box!!! So glad you scored! I’ve been seeing some amazing boxes on the LC Subreddit as well!
I was just checking in to give the folks heading over tomorrow a little warning to get there early and to have lots of patience. Today they experienced major problems with their WiFi connections and morning sessions had hour long check out waits which snow balled to 3+ hours by the time the afternoon sessions rolled in. They hope to have it fixed by tomorrow but who knows.
The staff could not have been nicer and helpful (essentially turned into one long line to check out.). Sadly I had not planned to spend nearly 6 hours there and had a show to catch. So had to bail. I’m a little disappointed, but in the end it was just bad luck.
So it looks like I plan to attend next years! lol!!! Hopefully this whole fiasco makes them move back to Santa Monica and I will try not to make plans for the day.

This tuna is very good. Excellent price on sale at Whole Foods. I tried the Tonnino tuna in olive oil in the glass jars after somebody on the home cooking thread mentioned it. Great stuff.

Yay! I had a friend who went and she got a nice big stainless pot but no enamel 
. People in the Dallas show were getting store fixures. 
But I heard that the LA staff made sure to double check the boxes and made sure they met the value and then some with extras they had. So glad it was worth it for you!!

I’ll tag you when they announce next year’s sale. I’m happy too report the problems I had on Friday were solved by Saturday. It was really a case of bad luck.

Yea managed so score a large braiser, enamel pan and a kettle in the mystery box. Showed up at the 5pm time slot and didn’t leave til 1015. Hopefully next year is better

Glad you stayed the course and got a great box. I love my braiser. I got it in my mystery box from the last event and use it more than my DOs. People who attended Saturday’s session had absolute smooth sailing. So while I do hope they make it closer to L.A. next time (Going east on Fridays is a BEAR in general), I do plan to go again to pick up those items I had to leave behind.

Like a box full of goodies at like 90% off? I kid I kid. That sounds miserable and there’s no way I would have lasted. Did you at least get a good box?
I went to the Le Creuset event on Friday as well. It was an exhausting experience to say the least. It was my first FTT and I actually went solo and learned that it was a big mistake. Luckily, I made some friends while in line and everybody was kind in watching each other’s carts as we took turns browsing and shopping since the line to checkout was 3 hours (for the 12:30pm session). Unfortunately, at the merchandise pick-up station, after leaving my cart with the staff to go get my car–similar to how it’s done at Ikea–I came back to find that somebody had stolen my mystery box from my cart. The staff did not have any answers as to what happened and I have no idea how they allowed somebody else to take that heavy box out of my cart! Thank goodness none of the other stuff I bought were taken. They ended up just apologizing and giving me another mystery box instead.
My mystery box consisted of a 2.75 qt round dutch oven, 10.25 in signature skillet, square grill, demi kettle, french press, basting brush, and a cookbook called “Perfect Panini.” The skillet was cerise whereas everything else was a shade of blue (turquoise, caribbean, or marine). There are many scratches on the skillet, so I emailed them and they told me they could replace it with a predetermined mystery box item, which is a “5qt shallow oval oven” if I was able to return during the weekend. I was out of town, but somebody went on my behalf and they didn’t have the specific item in stock, so I had to email to ask for them to send me a replacement instead. No response yet… I also don’t even know what a 5qt shallow oval oven is. I don’t think I have seen an oval oven that is shallow.

My box was good. I got a dutch oven and a frying pan and some small things like a spatula etc… It was worth it.
